FAQ
Clear answers to common questions before planning a concrete-products plant.
What products can a concrete block machine manufacture?+
Depending on the machine platform and mould compatibility, a vibro-press system may produce concrete blocks, hollow blocks, interlocking pavers, kerbstones and other dry-cast concrete products. Product feasibility should be confirmed with the mould design and machine envelope.
How is concrete block machine capacity calculated?+
Capacity depends on products per mould, cycle time, product type, mix behaviour, pallet handling, curing logistics, mould changes and downtime. A realistic calculation should use the intended product portfolio rather than a single headline figure.
What is the difference between automatic and semi-automatic block lines?+
A fully automatic line integrates more material handling, pallet circulation, curing transfer, cubing and control functions. Semi-automatic lines keep selected handling stages manual or operator-assisted. The right choice depends on labour, scale, investment scope and process-control targets.
Can one machine produce both blocks and pavers?+
Many multi-product vibro-press platforms can manufacture different product families by changing moulds and recipes. Compatibility depends on mould dimensions, machine clearance, face-mix requirements and downstream handling.
Do you publish fixed concrete block machine prices?+
A meaningful quotation depends on machine size, automation scope, moulds, mixer and batching equipment, pallet and curing systems, cubing, packaging, electrical standard, installation and destination. For this reason, project scope should be defined before pricing.
What information is needed for a quotation?+
Useful information includes target products, expected capacity, desired automation level, plant dimensions, destination country, electrical standard, available raw materials, number of moulds and whether installation, training or turnkey planning is required.
Why is curing important in block and paver production?+
Curing controls moisture and temperature conditions after pressing. Poor curing can affect early strength, surface quality, colour consistency and handling losses even when the machine and concrete recipe are correct.
How important is the mould in concrete product quality?+
The mould defines product geometry and works directly with filling, vibration and pressing. Wear condition, machining accuracy, tamper design and maintenance strongly influence dimensional repeatability and surface quality.
Can an existing production line be upgraded?+
Many plants can be improved by addressing specific bottlenecks such as batching, mixer output, pallet handling, automation, curing transfer, cubing or controls. A site review is normally required before defining the upgrade scope.
Do export projects require different planning?+
Yes. Shipping dimensions, containerization, electrical standards, installation sequence, local lifting equipment, spare-parts stock, operator training and remote support should be considered early when the project is located in another country.
